In this MaxMSP demo, we demonstrate how our MaxMSP workflow enables digital instrument makers to explore and create timbre in new ways! We load a sample (whose timbre we like) and extract the timbral features from it. We choose and visualize the features we're interested in and use them as synthesis parameters for neural audio synthesis (using RAVE models) and traditional synthesis (using a VST).
