While Biden publicly promises a ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid into Gaza, the choice of Resnick, renowned for authorizing billions of arms transfers to “Israel”, for shaping the country’s policy regarding Palestine, tells otherwise.
Resnick previously worked on Capitol Hill, and a source familiar with her work told HuffPost that she privately justified weapons transfers to "Israel" during the ongoing war to legislators and congressional staffers.
Critics argued that Biden's appointment of Resnick reinforces his support for “Israel's” genocidal war on Palestinians.
