This month's interview is with Prof. Richard H. Holm of Harvard University. His research interests commenced with fundamental questions of redox-active ligand complexes and paramagnetic NMR spectroscopy of metal complexes, and led to seminal synthetic and structural work on iron-sulfur clusters that are directly related to those found in nature for electron transport.
