OneNote is a powerful note-taking app that can help you organize your thoughts, ideas, and projects. But did you know that OneNote also has some hidden features that can make your life easier and more productive? Here are some of them:
Calculator: You can use OneNote as a calculator by typing a simple math expression and pressing the equal sign (=) or the spacebar. OneNote will automatically calculate the result and display it next to your expression. For example, if you type 2+2=, OneNote will show 2+2=4. You can also use more complex expressions, such as 5*(3+2)^2=, and OneNote will show 5*(3+2)^2=125.
Hyperlinks using square brackets: You can create hyperlinks to other pages or sections in your notebook by using square brackets around the name of the page or section. For example, if you have a page called "Project Plan" in your notebook, you can type [[Project Plan]] and OneNote will create a hyperlink to that page. You can also use this feature to create new pages or sections by typing a name that does not exist yet. For example, if you type [[To Do List]], OneNote will create a new page called "To Do List" and link to it.
Maths assistant: You can use OneNote to solve math problems, graph equations, and convert units. To access this feature, go to the Insert tab and click on Maths. You can then write or type a math problem or equation in the box that appears. OneNote will recognize your input and offer you various options, such as solving for x, graphing the equation, or converting units. You can also use the Ink to Math button to convert your handwritten math into typed math. Do you know these hidden features in OneNote?
