I. Introduction
1.1 Overview of the B.Sc. Nursing Course The Colleges of Nursing included in this Prospectus offer B.Sc. Nursing Degree Program of 4 year duration as specified by Kerala University of Health Sciences, (KUHS), approved by Indian Nursing Council &Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council .
1.2 The Private Nursing College Management Association in Kerala has decided to introduce an separate selection procedure for admission of candidates in the Management Quota to the B.Sc. Nursing course as per the direction of the Honorable Supreme Court of India in its judgments dated31st October 2002 , dated 14th August 2003 and 4th January 2007.
1.3 This prospectus contains the rules and regulations for selection and admission to the seats to be filled
by the Managements of Self- Financing Colleges of Nursing for the year 2022-2023.
1.4 This prospectus is subject to modification/addition/deletion as may be deemed necessary by the Association and subject to the Judgments of Honorable Courts of law.
Eligibility for Admission
3.1 Academic:
(i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary
Education of Kerala or equivalent examinations recognized by any of the Universities in the State of
Kerala with Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 50% marks in English in
second Year only are eligible for admission.
3.2 Age: (i) Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on the 31st December 2022. No relaxation of
the minimum age will be allowed.
(ii) Self attested copy of relevant page of school record namely SSLC/ICSE/CBSE/ certificate showing the
date of birth / copy of birth certificate should be produced at the time of admission.
