Hellfire Vertical Launches from US Navy's Littoral Combat Ships
An AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire missile vertical launches from the Surface-To-Surface Missile Module (SSMM) aboard Freedom-class and Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).
Each LCS is capable carrying twenty-four Longbow Hellfire missiles.
SSMM utilizes Army Longbow Hellfire missiles in vertical launch capability to counter small boats at sea and threats on the ground.
