Peter's Maxibon needed to get the attention of the youth market to re-engage them with the brand. An increasingly difficult task given their media habits as well as their sense of humour. But seizing on a critical insight about their eating habits, that their diet was getting 'soft' with all the late's and fruit juices being consumed, we created a tongue in cheek campaign that was able to grab their attention and get them interested in the brand once again. We introduced a 'man-chew toy' that was built to toughen your jaw muscles and seeded it through digital channels. Not only did we sell out of the Man-Chew toy, but we smashed our sales targets. Getting youth engaged, just takes the right insight and the right execution.
