Today I am going to show you my entire design process of manipulating typography, including the tools and software I use to create custom type and fonts in Adobe Illustrator.
I will be manipulating custom typography in Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Ai is a vector based program, which means that the program is created using lines and points and mathematics – therefore the objects can be scaled an infinite amount of times without losing quality.
In this easy, beginner friendly how to graphic design tutorial, I will be using the pen tool, the pencil tool, the pathfinder tool, the shape builder tool, the puppet warp tool and various other tools to manipulate type. Custom typography is a great way to wow your graphic design clients and add an interesting elements into your graphic design portfolio.
