How to fix P0344 Code: Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Intermittent Bank 1 or Single Sensor
The camshaft position sensor measures the rotational position and speed of the camshaft. The computer (ECM/PCM) uses this information to control the timing of the ignition spark and the fuel injectors.
The P0344 Code is set when the computer (ECM/PCM) detects an inconsistent signal from the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank-1 (Sensor-A).
Sensor A is usually intake. Sensor B is usually exhaust
Code P0344 is often caused by a bad cam sensor, problems with the circuitry, and issues with timing components like the timing chain.
If the camshaft position sensor is replaced, some vehicles need a Cam Sensor Relearn procedure.

Possible Causes of a P0344 Code:
Bad Camshaft Position (Bank-1, Sensor-A)
Wiring (Open Short)
Blown Fuse
Timing Components (Belt, Chain, or Tensioner)
