Good Old School Perseverance (2013) - Short Documentary
Our documentary records the trials and tribulations of high school students who persevered to overcome the unusually cruel challenges posed by high school. We delve into the stories of these extraordinary people. With each question asked, we develop an understanding of the kind of guts it takes for youth to succeed in the face of hardship and come out of the other side with a diploma. In addition to student interviewees, we heard from their mentors; the people who inspired the will to succeed amongst downtrodden students.
