How To Make YOUTUBE SHORTS 🔴 FULL Beginners Guide (YouTube Shorts UPDATE)
In today's video, I'll be covering how to make youtube shorts and also how to upload YouTube Shorts! YouTube Shorts is a new short-form video experience that will have numerous tools available for creators to make videos directly from their mobile devices!
Throughout the video, I'll be doing a full breakdown of YouTube Shorts ranging everywhere from what are the requirements for a YouTube Short, how to make a YouTube Short, Mr Beast's success with making YouTube Shorts, and more!
Some of you may have noticed a new section on your YouTube App called "Stories and short videos" and this row of videos will include some of your favorite creators' YouTube Shorts content along with other suggested short-form content too. It's pretty similar to TikTok in the sense that you can easily swipe up or down in order to move to the next video.
Similar to what Instagram did with Reels, YouTube is rolling out this new short-form video creator called YouTube Shorts, however it's only in Beta Testing right now and has had it's first roll out in India. That makes a lot of sense as TikTok was removed from the country in late June and now many of those creators will have a new platform to try out!
India is also one of YouTube's fastest-growing markets at the moment so if YouTube Shorts take off there, then it will likely find success in other countries as well!
Check to see if you have a plus (+) icon at the bottom of your YouTube App. Then if you see “create a short video” as an option, you have the Shorts camera!
If you don't have the Shorts camera, you can still participate by tagging your short videos (under 60 seconds) with the hashtag Shorts in the title or description. The video you do this on must be a vertical video though!
Check out @MrBeast2 as an example of someone creating Shorts content regularly!
Between standard uploads, live streaming, stories, and now Shorts, it's clear that YouTube wants it's creators to have a wide variety of tools at their disposal for content creation!
