Comparing yourself to other YouTubers is one of the most common mistakes new YouTubers make. Well honestly, it's not even just new YouTubers, I think every creator makes this mistake and that's why it's become so common! In this video I'll be going over how to stop comparing yourself to others, both as a whole but also more specifically on YouTube!
It's hard when you put in tons of work on your channel and in your videos and then you see others doing better than you but something to keep in mind is that you're not in a competition against any other YouTuber, and you're all running your own race.
What I mean by this is that it's okay if someone else is growing faster than you, or finding more success than you, and you shouldn't let it demotivate you from trying to achieve your own success and accomplish your own YouTube goals!
If you're just starting out, it's a key thing to remember that YouTubers with millions of subscribers, all started from 0! So knowing how this one YouTuber mistake can keep you small will help you out a lot mentally when it comes to creating content in whatever niche you decide to pursue!
