Phuket Town, also known as Phuket City, is the tranquil capital of the Thai holiday island of Phuket. Phuket Town has a characteristic cityscape. Many historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century are in the so-called "Sino-Portuguese style", a mixture of Portuguese colonial architecture with Chinese elements, as can also be found in other traditional trading towns on the coasts of southern China and especially the Malay Peninsula. The old town of Phuket City in particular has a special charm and is well worth a visit.
My latest video takes you on a visual journey through the beautiful old town with its colourful houses, magnificent temples, the lively night market with its special atmosphere and much more.
