Today, I show you a patient with leg pain from S1 nerve root compression. Nerve root compression can be extremely painful and cause significant leg pain. The most common signs and symptoms of an S1 nerve root compression are:
✅ Leg pain migrating down the back side of the leg all the way to the calf and foot
✅ Altered sensation along the outer leg and outer foot and heel
✅ Positive Straight Leg Raise Test
✅ Positive Braggard's Sign/test
✅ Loss of Achilles deep tendon reflex
✅ Loss of calf strength
✅ Occasional groin or testicular pain
