This video explains about downloading the jquery and how to add jquery in your project.
Please follow the steps
1. go to
2. download the uncompressed, development jQuery 1.12.2
note : jquery download version may change over the time
3. save jquery file on your hard drive.
4. create new project in visual studio or any of the offline editors you have.
5. create a script folder with in your project.
6. copy the downloaded jquery file into script folder.
7. add html page and add reference the jquery file.
