This week we are breaking off from the traditional format of looking at games that could be translated into VR and instead of moving towards a completely different style of game. Katana Zero is a title that I came across earlier this year, and I was drawn in by its unique visual style and gameplay feedback loop. What I found was the perfect combination of style, challenge, and story that kept me playing until the credits rolled. I am very excited to announce that we are joined by Granger Freeman Martin, a 3D modeler, Game Designer, and fellow student at Ringling College of Art and Design. He will be talking with us about Pixel art and retro-style games.
