Welcome to Part 2 of the After Effect for Beginners series. In this video we are going to further discuss Transform Properties; Anchor Point, Position, Scale, Rotation and Opacity. Once we have an understanding of those properties and how to animate them we will move on to Layer Types. Briefly explaining the different Layers; Text, Solid, Light, Camera, Null Object, Shape Layer, Adjustment Layer, Content Aware Fill Layer, Adobe Photoshop File and Maxon Cinema 4D File. Once you have a basic understanding of what each are we will dive into Text Layers and Solid Layers. In future videos we will discuss the other layer types in more detail. We will discuss the different text opens, create some animations using the different text options, learn what the source text animation does and how to apply text either Horizontally, Vertically or on a Shape or Path.
