iPhone 15 Pro Max: A Real Day in the Life (Camera, Battery, & Performance)
This video was shot entirely on the iPhone 15 Pro Max to give you a guys a glimpse of the video and sound quality you can get using the phone without any additional accessories. I compare the iPhone 15 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max with video and photo quality comparison in the video to give you guys an idea of what the differences in quality. From my findings you can really only tell the difference if you are pixel peeping. I will say, the smart HDR 5 does consistently show better High Dynamic Range in video on photo. It's not so much a dramatic difference to want to upgrade between the two latest phones unless that is of the most importance to you.
The battery life of the phone proved to hold up well. It did die on me at around 8 PM in this video and I found that the cause was streaming hi-res lossless on Apple Music while going on longer drives. Once I turned it on to regular high quality on cellular I saw better battery life. I have not experienced any overheating issues with the battery or phone at all. I do use ESR magsafe wireless charger with an included fan to ensure my phone stays cool when it charges overnight to avoid any battery heating issues overnight that might be possible.
The change to USB-C and all the different things you can do with it is very well welcomed. I don't go into the things you can do with it, but there are tons of things you can use and do with it based on other videos that I have seen. The action button is also very handy when I know I need to get to the camera app right away to capture a moment. I do wish that Apple would enable pro features to the camera such as manual controls natively instead of using third party apps. Even the Pixel has finally gave creators the freedom to use manual controls natively. Apple is only the big name that yet to do this for its consumers. Your move Apple.
