Excel's Flash fill feature is designed to make your cumbersome data life easy. This feature works on AI tech within Excel to recognize the source data from adjacent cell and automatically pattern the data as per the desired needs.
Flash Fill is found in Data Tab within Data Tools in Excel 365 or you can use a shortcut key to get it by pressing Ctrl+E
Using Flash Fill is simple, but you’ll need to let Excel know what you want. There are three steps:
1) Enter the source data.
2) To the right of the source data, enter what you want in the first cell.
3) Press Ctrl+E to implement Flash Fill, which will complete the list.
Occasionally, you’ll need to make two or three entries before Excel catches on.
