Read Description Please!
This video shows a lot of Guardian jumps/hiding spots. Most of the clips are tactical shortcut jumps. A lot of them are really hard to do so don't expect to be able to do them right away.
Make sure to also watch parts 1, 3, and 4:
Part 1 - • Halo 3 :: Guardian Jumps/Hiding Spots...
Part 3 - • Halo 3 :: Guardian Jumps/Hiding Spots...
Part 4 - • Halo 3 :: Guardian Jumps/Hiding Spots...
NOTE - PLEASE READ ::
All jumps were done using MLG settings. For those of you that don't know what MLG is, it stands for Major League Gaming. In MLG settings your speed is at 110% instead of at the default 100%. That is why it may seem like the gravity is lower. The gravity was not lowered in any jumps. If you don't believe me I could show you but I don't have the time, sorry. Also the camera angles could have made the gravity seem lower.
ANOTHER NOTE ::
I have changed my gamertag since this video has been posted. It is no longer 'ReLeIVtLeSs'. If you want to find out my new gamertag, check out my profile.
TYPES OF JUMPS USED IN VIDEO ::
Crouch Jumping - This is when you jump then crouch at the peak of your jump. By doing this you can jump higher/get to places you wouldn't be able to without crouching.
Grenade Jumps - I'm sure everyone knows what this is. All you do is throw a grenade near you/next to you and then jump right as it explodes and it will boost you higher/farther.
Ghost/Edge Ghost Jumping - This is where you jump off of something you can't normally stand on. Basically you jump at an invisible ledge then jump off of that same invisible ledge. These jumps are usually very hard to do if not practiced. So don't expect to be able to do them right away. There are a lot of examples of ghost/edge ghost jumps in this video. If you want an in-depth guide on how to do these kind of jumps then check out the video below
• . : Halo 3 | How to Ghost Jump : .
Slide Jumps - This is where you jump off of a slanted object and you slide somewhere else. What you need to do is jump at the slanted object and hold crouch in mid air then right as you hit the slant, uncrouch and jump again. Good examples of this type of jump are done at about 2:47 and 3:35 in the video.
Elevator Jumping - To do this you must have two people. Have one person stand in a corner and keep walking forward. Have the second person jump on their head and also keep walking forward into the corner. Now all you need to do is have the person on bottom keep tapping the jump button. If done correctly you will both start floating upward. This type of jump may be hard to do and require some practice. A perfect example of this is shown at about 0:57 in the video.
Ramp Jump - This jump tactic was used in the video at about 1:35. Basically, you stand on the end of a slanted ledge then you run up the little slant and use it to boost you a little higher. I would also recommend doing a crouch jump with this. Once again, all this is perfectly displayed at about 1:35 in the video.
