Durafly DH-100 Vampire on 3S
After a disastrous maiden flight last summer due mainly to a CoG that was too far back and a couple of subsequent brief flights and nose gear steering problems, I took my Vampire out for another flight recently. This time the CoG was further forward, but I didn't check the battery requirements. So this brief flight was on 3S 2200 mAh rather than the recommended 4S. Still it flew OK, but a bit sluggish. The CoG change transformed its controllability. CoG is about 5 to 7 mm forward of the front of the tail booms. It didn't want to land - just kept on gliding. Thanks to Tim for the video.
