Easy Built Models FF-09 Rainbow 36 inch rubber-powered model built and flown by 'Scaledown'. This is a pre-1942 design, harking back to the days when rubber-powered free flight models were common. Apart from some early models as a kid (winding the prop with my fingers), I have rarely experienced these. It took a bit of trail and error regarding trimming, but had most of us mesmerised just watching it on an ideal morning. Soundtrack: Easy Day by Kevin MacLeod
