How to Turn Off Dark Mode in Microsoft Word
If you've turned on dark mode in Microsoft Word and want to switch back to the regular white background, here is how you do it.
Note that this tutorial was done on Microsoft Word 365 on a PC but should be similar on other versions and systems.
To switch off dark mode, go to the menu bar and choose "File", and the select "Account" all the way at the bottom of the list.
In the screen that comes up select "Office Theme" and change it to whatever color you want. I choose "White" since I wanted to have it back to the original color for Word.
Hit "Esc" and you have disabled dark mode in Microsoft Word. You can use these steps to turn it back on, or change the color.
