In the last video, we started by downloading various weapons along with visual effects and sounds, which we'll be putting to use in today's video. We also wrote code to spawn a default weapon and attach it to the character's right hand. Additionally, we created a fire method, though it doesn’t do much at the moment, and we implemented a crosshair using the HUD class in C++.

For today's video, we'll focus on developing the shooting logic using two ray casts. Then we'll incorporate a fire animation with montages, followed by adding visual effects like muzzle flash, impact particles, and sound effects. Finally, we'll learn how to create a beam effect in Niagara and integrate it into our code.
