Creature Caster: King of Ecstasy unboxed and built up enough to paint!
Oh yeah! Time for another giant Creature Caster model!
The first "male" Ecstasy demon Creature Caster has released, he's quite a nice looking model. Very ornate armor, crazy weapons and claws, and a pretty sturdy center of gravity make me a bit less hesitant to actually plop him on the table.
I find it funny that this might actually be cheaper than the GW Keeper of Secrets since the latest price hike. I also find the visuals of this model way more ferocious than the current Keeper. The stance is a bit more dynamic as well, and I really like the giant claws on him.
My biggest gripe is probably the shallow contacts on the base. I absolutely adore the King of Ruin and Lord of Malice's very deep and defined areas to support them on their bases. It works and I don't have to worry about how sturdy they are.
One surprise was this was the first Creature Caster model at this size that didn't have areas already marked for pinning. Not that it really needed it compared to other kits, but those are always appreciated.
Overall another excellent model from Creature Caster!
