Necrotech returns to my table! SFG's new Cryx Battlegroup!
Just in time for Halloween, I got the opprotunity to manhandle my way through Necrofactorium Battlegroup Box from Steamforged Games.
Watch in realtime as I attempt to put parts in all the wrong configurations! Marvel at the fact that my eyesight is so poor I mistook the warcaster for being part of the heavy warjack!
Despite my visual mishaps, I know some nice models when I spot them, and these are definitely nice models! I like how the parts are all keyed specifically for certain sections, so dolts like me don't end up with mishappen models. The fits are good enough as well that while I wait for the specific magnets needed for the jacks, the various limbs are sturdy enough to stay in place without the need for any magnetization for the time being.
Guess I'm going to need to check if I still have the neon green paint I used to fill in all my Cryx units with...

...And if anyone was wondering, it was Lich Lord Venethrax I was trying to remember. I did paint paint the metal Lich Lord Terminus, and he was a horrible model to deal with attaching those awful wings. If there had ever been a candidate from Cryx that was in need of a resculpt, it was him!
