In this video, I show you how sine represents the y value of a circle and cosine represents the x value of a circle. By transposing the cosine wave so the amplitude of the wave represents positive and negative x values, we can chart the circle using the intersecting lines made from a vertical line through the x value and a horizontal line through the y value. Hopefully, this video makes sine and cosine a litter easier to understand.
