Our Mission at RicFit is simple: to help undiscovered players get a fair shot at professional opportunities. Since retiring from the game, I’ve been focused on creating genuine opportunities for players who deserve them.
During my playing days and beyond, I’ve seen countless players get ripped off or taken advantage of. They’re often overcharged or promised opportunities that never materialize. I’ve witnessed all the shady dealings in this game, and I’ve always made it my priority to be real and transparent—whether with clients, friends, family, or my girlfriend.
I believe in telling it like it is. If a player isn’t good enough or isn’t doing enough to reach the next level, it’s better to be honest from the start. That truth is what drives improvement. Coaches and mentors who are brutally honest care about making you better.
That’s why the partnership with Joe was a natural fit. We’ve been in talks for the last 3-4 years, and I knew once I retired, I wanted to team up with him.
Our partnership took off after the successful signing of Ideal Shefqeti, a standout from Fairleigh Dickinson and the University of Pittsburgh. Seeing our shared commitment to finding, nurturing, and educating undiscovered talent, SoccerViza and RicFit joined forces to discover and promote the most promising players out there.
With this alliance, RicFit players will get the chance to work directly with SoccerViza on the ground in Romania, while we handle their physical, nutritional, mental, and financial development off the field.
Together, RicFit and SoccerViza will actively scout and identify talented players who’ve ‘slipped through the cracks,’ whether due to bad luck or not being in a top Division 1 program. We’ll bring them into RicFit’s extensive network and strive to give them real professional opportunities.
This partnership is a significant step for both organizations, combining SoccerViza’s player discovery and placement expertise with RicFit’s deep knowledge of talent development in the sports industry.
