Welcome to our unique video, where we ventured to the city of Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, to gather the opinions of local residents regarding a series of aviation disasters that have shaken their hometown. In this video, we asked Russians several important questions concerning the incidents that caused pain and concern in the hearts of many.
On July 17, 2023, a tragic aviation disaster occurred near Yeysk, as an airplane crashed into the sea not far from the beaches. We inquired whether the residents felt endangered being so close to the crash site and what they think might have caused this tragedy.
Additionally, we sought the perspectives of the locals on a previous catastrophe that took place on October 7, 2022 when an airplane crashed into a residential building, claiming numerous innocent lives. We asked them about the emotions and thoughts evoked by this dreadful tragedy.
One aspect that interests us is the potential connection between the airplane crashes and the military operations in Ukraine. Do many people believe these incidents are related to the conflict, and do they think that ending the war could help prevent such disasters?
