Following my investigation regarding the rice-based thermoacoustic engine, and after watching the following video:

I have modified my rice engine to create sound. Also, I have studied a bit about sound resonators and learned that a pipe that is closed on one side and open on another side is named a quarter-wave resonator and the frequency of resonance is very well known. I made the length of the rice engine variable using small cans that I have collected (I use to keep the cans when I finish eating their content to be able to do experiments such as this). using a mobile phone it was easy to analyze the sound frequency and magnitude. the experiment clearly showed that the formula for calculation of resonance frequency worked very well. very loud sound can be produced this way, I went up only to 105 dB to avoid bothering my neighbors.
