Free machinery operation training with HS2 contractor
Job seekers living near the HS2 route are benefiting from new training opportunities at three dedicated plant training centers in Iver (Buckinghamshire), Brackley (Northamptonshire), and Sutton Coldfield (Birmingham), which are run by Flannery Plant Hire in collaboration with HS2’s main works contractors.
The purpose-built Operator Skills Hubs are designed to upskill local people for free, preparing them for jobs on HS2 and other Flannery projects in as little as two weeks. Once learners pass the course, they are guaranteed an interview with one of the employers of the Flannery-affiliated projects.
