I've gotten questions in the comments about how I make the music in my videos, so this is a peek behind the curtain at a raw project file. Yes, I still use GarageBand, at this point I've been using it for so long that I kind of just want to see how much more use I can squeeze out of it. I am idly looking for something better to switch to, though, because my synth-y musical style is heavily influenced by the necessity of what few genres can be made to sound decent in Garageband. I do feel the urge to spread my wings a bit by this point.

I made this piece as background score for one of my more recent animations, but only the first few bars of it ended up being used in the finished video. By hearing the various separate stems that layer together to make it, and with the visual aid of actually seeing the notes laid out, my hope is that it will be easier to understand what goes into it.
