Freddy sends in his little sidekick to give his greetings to the night shift guard, by force.
With my animations, I usually like to keep them pretty grounded and realistic, which of course raises the question of why Bonnie makes a tiny little indignant squeak like a dog toy upon being thrown at the door. The answer is, because I thought it was funny.
And on that topic, I thought I'd add my two cents about humor in Five Nights at Freddy's, because there is some interesting debate to be had about its place in the series. There are many fans who have been resisting and protesting FNaF delving into comedy ever since it started trending that way, and to some extent I can sympathize with wanting it to go back to being super serious and scary like the very early stuff was.
But the reality is that FNaF's sense of humor is an inextricable part of its identity, and has been for the vast majority of its lifespan. If you look at it in ratios, 'funny FNaF' has been here far longer than 'serious FNaF' ever was. Sister Location, the game which first tried leaning into comedy, was only two years into the series's existence, and at the time of writing, the tenth anniversary is right around the corner. The early games are very much the outliers at this point, from before the series had fully found its voice. Not some right and proper standard which the series has foolishly strayed from.
Besides, FNaF simply cannot be scary the way you remember it being when it first came out, because so much of that fear comes from fear of the unknown. What you're remembering is what FNaF felt like before you were used to it, which is not something they could recapture even if they tried.
