Processor: Minimum of Mediatek P22 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. They are considered moderate performance chipsets.
Storage: Consider buying a 32GB internal storage device, anything less will easily get filled up, even though you can expand the storage capacity by using SD Card. I feel that SD Cards are not as reliable as the internal storage, and as such I rather advice you go for the highest possible internal storage for your budget.
RAM: Minimum of 3GB.
Connectivity: Any device now should be at least 4G enabled.
Screen: 6" and higher will give a better media consumption experience.
Battery: Minimum of 3500mAh, but 4000 mAh is recommended.
Camera: Should have OIS and IPS LCD screens are recommended.
