In this video, we're going to talk about the difference between nutritional yeast and brewers yeast.
These are both very similar and are loaded with:
• B-vitamins
• Amino acids
• Trace minerals
Both of these come from the same family of yeast, but different strains. Nutritional yeast has more of a nutty or cheesy flavor. Brewers yeast is very bitter tasting. I mostly consume nutritional yeast.
Some people are more prone to digestive issues with brewers yeast rather than with nutritional yeast.
Be sure, whether or not you choose nutritional yeast or brewers yeast, that you get a non-GMO version. Also, be sure that it is non-enriched. You don't want it to be enriched with synthetic B vitamins.
Vivid dreams or nervous stress can be good indicators that you really need more B-vitamins. In this case, you may want to start consuming nutritional yeast.
