Getting Started with Hybrid Drumming | Roland SPD-SX
I have wanted to dive deeper into hybrid drumming for quite a while, so I thought it was time to get out my SPD-SX and start experimenting! I've used an SPD-SX quite a bit in a live setting, but only to control backing tracks. This approach treats the sample pad as more of an instrument, which is really cool. The possibilities are endless and this is the start of me experimenting with adding new sounds to my drumming pallette.
