Bucket list moment - CHECK. It was an absolute pleasure to spend some time with one of my drumming heroes, Steve Gadd. They say you shouldn't meet your heroes in case you are disappointed, but Steve was a fascinating and humble guy who is as fired up about drumming today as when he started.
We chatted about what inspires him, how he approaches grooves and parts and his best advice for the aspiring drummer out there.
