Ingredients
Dough
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp vodka
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup warm water
Beef filling
1lb ground beef
½ small onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ cup green olives, roughly chopped
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt & pepper
Slice cheese of your choice
3QT Fry oil
For the filling, in a pan over medium high heat, add oil and once hot add your ground beef. Cook for 2 minutes then flip and continue cooking and breaking up your beef. Once your beef is cooked and your onions, garlic and tomato paste cook for 2 minutes then add olives, smoked paprika, oregano and parsley mix and set aside.
Divide your dough into 4 equal pieces. On a well floured surface roll out one piece of your dough until 1/4 inch thick.
Then cut into small rectangles. To one of side of a dough rectangle add a spoon of the filling and a slice of cheese. Fold over and seal with a fork, than fry at 350f for 5-7 minutes. Them revove to a plate and garnish with parsley!
