2024 Boiler Gold Rush Carnival for Purdue's College of Agriculture

Each year, Purdue’s incoming first-year students are welcomed to campus through Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) and Boiler Gold Rush International (BGRi). These weeklong orientation programs, held from Aug. 12-16, are designed to help new Boilermakers, guided by experienced upperclassmen, familiarize themselves with their surroundings and prepare for the semester ahead.
This year, the College of Agriculture welcomed nearly 600 new students and celebrated with its own BGR event Friday, August 16th on the front lawn of the Agricultural Administration Building.
The event featured carnival games, including corn hole, horseshoes, putt-putt, giant Jenga, skee-ball and tricycle racing.
