Chinese carmaker Xpeng launches budget MONA M03 model targeting Tesla's Model 3
Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng Tuesday unveiled its new budget sub-brand MONA with the M03 model, starting at USD $16,813. The M03, Xpeng's most affordable model, designed to compete with Tesla's Model 3.
The M03 comes in three versions: a 515-kilometre range model priced USD $16,813, a 620-kilometre version at $18,217, and the M03 Max, featuring Tesla-like technology at $21,866.
Both versions are priced lower than Xpeng’s current least expensive model, the P5 sedan, which starts at $22,000.
