Herbivores are often plump prey for predators in the wild grasslands. The pursuit of enemies forces them to stand up and fight. Their bodies, armed with sharp horns, are the only weapons that intimidate wild animals. They are ready to use their horns to inflict serious wounds and overpower their hunters.
Being prey does not necessarily mean always having to flee. When attacked by a lion, the Wildebeest puts up a fierce resistance. Its sturdy horn digs deep into the predator's leg, worsening the wound as the Wildebeest struggles. Despite the pain, the lion cannot dislodge the Wildebeest's horn from its body. The will to live helps the Wildebeest emerge victorious.
During the buffalo hunt, lions face the risk of serious injury or even death. The buffalo's 47-inch long horn penetrated deeply into the lion's body, causing injury. The lioness group joined together to pin down the large prey even though the wild buffalo tried its best to force the lioness from her horn position. Even though they tried to the end, the wild buffalo's efforts were still not enough to overcome the united front of the wild animals.
