Living high up in the dense forest canopy, monkeys and baboons are elusive creatures. However, they still cannot escape the hunting attempts of grassland predators. Every time they have to leave their hiding place to search for food, it is a long and dangerous journey.
Hungry lions need to expand their hunting grounds by moving farther. A lioness discovered a feeding place for a group of wild animals. It stealthily hides in the dry grass and moves towards the target. Despite the wild animals' sharp teeth and collective resistance, hunger drove the lioness to act boldly. It rushed forward at lightning speed and grabbed a baboon. The lion quickly took its prey to large rocks to satisfy its hunger but this did not escape the attention of other lions. They rush in and steal for their prey.
Engrossed in digging for insects on the ground, the baboon is completely unaware of the danger approaching. A leopard is stealthily creeping closer with silent steps. By the time the wild animal detects the predator, it's too late to escape.
In Tsavo West National Park, a baboon was attacked by a crocodile while drinking water. The crocodile's large jaws clamped tightly onto the wild animal's arm, making it unable to escape. However, the wild animal remained alert, raised its head above the water, and tried to scream but to no avail. It realized that struggling would only make the crocodile's grip tighter, so it chose to stay silent, waiting for the right opportunity to escape. In the end, the wild animal's patience and efforts paid off as it quickly ran to shore, avoiding the larger predator.
