The 2024 Harley Davidson Low Rider S has the spirit of classic American muscle blended with modern performance and technology.
Engine and Performance:
Powering the 2024 Low Rider S is a Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine, displacing 1,923cc (117 cubic inches). This powerhouse is known for its torque-rich performance, delivering impressive acceleration. The engine is designed to provide plenty of low-end torque, making it ideal for cruising and quick bursts of speed. It's got a 6-speed transmission pretty smooth gear shifts and a responsive throttle control.
Chassis and Handling:
The Low Rider S rides on a Softail frame, which combines the hardtail look with the comfort of modern suspension technology. The setup includes inverted front forks and a rear monoshock suspension.
The bike's low profile enhances stability while cornering, which gave me more confidence on winding roads.
Design and Features:
The 2024 Low Rider S sports a simple and muscular design. It has a dual tank design. The seat is designed for comfort on long rides ( I say 200-300 miles), while maintaining a sporty posture for more aggressive riding. As I said in my review, I prefer Amber's 14" risers and bars as opposed to the stock set up but you should ride one to see for yourself.
Cost:
Prices may vary depending on region and dealer, but you should be able to find one starting at in the high $19,000.00 range.
In a nutshell, this is a fun bike to ride. I love the looks, acceleration, handling and though I wouldn't take it across the Country I have friends who rode from San Diego, Ca. to La Grande, Oregon and back with no problems at all. The trip was roughly 2,600 miles or so...
