An official for Hamas has said 'all parties' have been informed that there will be 'no negotiation' for a hostage release until Israel ends its bombardment in Gaza. The US had confirmed there had been 'very serious' negotiations taking place in Egypt on a new Gaza ceasefire and the release of more Israeli hostages, but prospects for a deal have remained uncertain.
