How to set up a printer in CUPS (while swearing at Samsung)
Yo, in case you've never seen anyone set up a printer, watch this video. Or if you want to listen to me complaining, I guess. Linux printer setup with CUPS is usually super smooth, unless you don't have a driver or the generic or a similar driver doesn't work (then you're f*cked, and have to write one yourself - it's not that hard though actually, just take a similar printer's driver and modify it, fairly straight-forward! But please don't ask for tutorials on this. You're a linux-user now. Your supposed to wtf-man first).
