In this video, I share my personal struggles with setting and achieving goals. At the beginning of 2023, I set some ambitious goals for myself, including learning to code, starting a new side hustle, and working out five times a week. But guess what? It didn't work out. I tried different side hustles, but they just didn't click. And I felt so stupid compared to all these successful people on social media.
But after sitting on it, I realized that I'm not going to force it anymore. I'm not going to do things that don't make me happy or fulfilled. I unsubscribed from channels that made me feel bad about myself and blocked my LinkedIn feed. I learned that everyone has their own journey, and sometimes it's okay to let things flow.
I also talk about the importance of acknowledging that our goals are here to guide us, not to force us into a certain box. We should modify our goals as necessary and not be too hard on ourselves.
