Emperor's Theorem | Ableton Push 2 performance
Phrygian Dominant Scale. Always brings out something I'd never usually make. Here I was transported to the Emperor's Court, where he's plotting his next move on the Chessboard of Push.
“His machinations had brought him this far. Below, a glorious landscape unfolded, his empire bathed in the crimson light of another twin dawn, a shimmering corona vibrating around every structure. He turned to his maps, and as he pored over them, set to work weaving his ideas and calculations together. This would be his theorem.”
This is a live, improvised performance on Ableton Push 2, using my custom live set that I've been building since 2013.
