Kind Words | Ableton Push 2 Performance
A few kind words go far. A little hello on the street to a stranger. A compliment out of the blue. Reminding someone else to be kind to themselves. From the modest to the truly generous, kind words help the world go round. I'm grateful for those that I've received, truly. It's not been an easy year and those kind words have cushioned some difficult moments or served as really important reminders.
This is a live, improvised performance on Ableton Push 2, using my custom live set that I've been building since 2013. This was the 5th part of an hour-long exploration of ideas. Funnily enough I was using the pentatonic major scale. A scale in which everything sounds, well, very kind, and in which it's impossible to play a bum note.
