Walkthrough "Hyper-Converged Cluster Manager" HCI GUI แรกใน Windows Admin Center (WAC)
WAC คือชื่อทางการของ "Project Honolulu" ครับ
ใน Windows 2019 ไมโครซอฟท์ตั้งใจจะเพิ่มความสามารถด้าน hybrid cloud และ hyper-converged ให้กับ web-based management tool ตัวนี้ ซึ่งปัจจุบันจะมี Dashboard แสดงข้อมูลสรุป, Drives, Servers, Virtual Machines, Virtual Switches, และ Volumes
บราวเซอร์ที่รองรับได้แก่ Microsoft Edge และ Google Chrome !!!
ความสามารถแบบครบๆ ยังต้องรออีกนิดครับ แต่ก็สามารถดาวน์โหลดมาติดตั้งบน windows 10/2016 แล้วใช้บริหารจัดการ Windows 2012+ ด้านอื่นๆ ได้ก่อน
ที่ 'Drives' เราจะเห็น % การกระจายตัวของชิ้นส่วนข้อมูล (slab) บน physical disk ลูกต่างๆ ใน HCI cluster
'Virtual Machines' ใช้สร้างและจัดการ VMs เช่น live migration
สำหรับ 'Volumes' ตอนนี้เรามีแค่ 2 node จึงสร้างได้เพียง 2-way mirror ครับ.
