In this video, you’ll learn some cool tricks that will make your editing experience smoother and more efficient.
One of the tricks is that you can actually scale masks by hovering near any corner, holding shift, and dragging it. This simple trick can save you a lot of time and effort when trying to mask something out.
You can actually drag your footage inside the essential graphics panel to act as a background or mask it with text. This method will render much faster and give you more control than using masks.
If you have a mix of footage, it can be tedious to find and select all of the different clips clips. But by labeling the source footage with a different color and using the select label group feature, you can quickly select all of the different kids of clips and apply effects to them all at once.
Adjusting keyframes can be a hassle when you can’t zoom in any further. But by deselecting Pin to Clip in the hamburger menu, you can zoom in as much as you need.
Boosting volume levels can also be limited in the effects panel, but by adjusting the gain or normalizing all peaks, you can ensure that the audio is loud enough without peaking.
Finally, I'll show you how to fix playback issues where the video is stuttering and playing back too fast. By adjusting premiere's audio hardware settings, you can get your video playback to function normally again.
